INVISTA releases innovations in knitwear--SPIN EXPO 2006 express |

INVISTA unveils their latest Autumn/Winter 07/08 collection at Spin EXPO Aug 30th -Sep 1st, 2006. Building on the success of her previous collection and inpired by the real-life consumer needs of both men and women, knitwear consultant of INVISTA, Sheila-Mary Carruthers, developed the collection using a number of INVISTA fibers and finishes including brands like LYCRA elastane fiber, TACTEL, COOLMAX and THERMOLITE fiber and DuPont TEFLON fabric protector.
The collection has used extensive trend and lifestyle research to develop creative fabrics and garments. To illustrate the latest concepts fabrics have been knitted in commercial yarns by a representative sample producers from around the world. Underlining their commitment to cutting edge innovation, the collection is produced using a number of new techniques and the very latest machinery.
"Research has shown that consumers are becoming increasingly demanding and expect more performance benefits from their knitwear. Key consumer demands include getting knitwear that keeps it shape as being easy to care for. Our challenge, therefore, is to deliver knitwear that meets their demands, whilst also preserving the aesthetic qualities inherent to knitwear" commented Charlotte Mills, INVISTA global knitwear manager.
