Cinte Techtextil China – International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens

Cinte Techtextil China opens Tuesday at INTEX at a time of high industry optimism. Over 320 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions will present their products on 12,000 sqm of exhibition space, making the fair over 20% bigger than the last event held in 2004. The show will give a comprehensive look at what technical textile, nonwoven products and new technologies are available in the international market. Cinte Techtextil China will also feature a range of seminars to educate and inform the visitors on the latest application and technology. The fair will run for three days until Thursday 21 September.

Spotlight on exhibitors
150 Chinese exhibitors will be present at Cinte Techtextil China including some of the nations top technical textile manufacturers such as China Textile Machinery (Group), Eastex Industrial Science and Technology, Tianjin Teda Filters, Xinlong Holding (Group) and Zhejiang Hailide New material.

Many international suppliers have also chosen Cinte Techtextil China to promote their product range as the show offers foreign companies the opportunity to explore the potential of China’s extensive technical textile market place. The number of overseas exhibitors attending this year’s show is 170, up by 14% compared to the last event in 2004. New key foreign exhibitors include Ahlstrom, Chemtax, Dow Corning, Gerber and Wacker.

The show will house group pavilions from Belarus, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany and Italy and, for the first time, the regional pavilion from Taiwan China.

  • Belarus
    Seven companies will compose the Belarus pavilion. The products showcased will include high temperature silica materials and E-glass materials for electronic, industrial and construction industry.
  • Belgium
    Lead by Flanders Investment & Trade, nine Belgian technical textiles suppliers and associations will participate at the show including Febeltex, the Belgium Textile Federation and Picanol, a weaving machine manufacturer recognised worldwide.
  • Canada
    Team Textile Canada (CTT Group) will bring six Canadian companies including Luratex, Texel, Regitex, the Aramid Yarn Company and CTTM presenting technical textiles and related products.
  • Germany
    Germany will be present with a large group of 39 companies.  Visitors to the pavilion will be able to meet representatives from well-known brand names such as W.L. Gore, supplier of the famous fluoropolymer products which include the GORE-TEX® brand, Fleissner, the manufacturer of machinery for man-made fibre and nonwovens production, Groz-Beckert, the world leading supplier of felting and tufting needles, and Verseidag Indutex, the manufacturer of raw, semi-finished and finished products for the composite coated fabrics market.
  • Italy
    Italy is at the forefront of research, study and production of revolutionary innovations in the nonwoven and technical textile sector. A total of 42 Italian companies will be present at Cinte Techtextil China showcasing their latest range including PVC coated fabrics and specialised machines.
  • France
    Twelve companies under the umbrella of Clubtex, a network of leading French technical textile firms, will present their latest technical textiles including metallic card clothing, turnkey nonwovens line thermo-adhesive webs, nets and films.
  • Taiwan
    Taiwan has confirmed a pavilion covering over 130 sqm, comprising 11 companies and organisations including, Everest Textile, Formosa Taffeta, Ho Yu Textile, Intatex, Kin Lane, KNH Enterprise, Mytrex Industries and New Pads Industry. The Taiwan Man-made Fiber Industries Association and the Taiwan Textile Federation will also be present on the pavilion.

Comprehensive seminars

Keeping visitors and exhibitors abreast of global innovations from the world of technical textiles and nonwovens, industry experts from Asia and around the world will participate in a comprehensive series of seminars held parallel to the fair. The seminars will include a presentation titled ‘Newly Developed Examples of Taiwan Technical Textiles’ from the Taiwanese group and a series of talk by the German pavilion named ‘Global Textile High – Technology Forum’.

Cinte Techtextil China - International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens is organised by Messe Frankfurt, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT and the China Nonwovens & Industrial Textiles Association (CNITA).
