International technical textiles and nonwovens suppliers and manufacturers are showing themselves on Cinte Techtextil China 2006. Visitors can find national and regional pavilions from Belarus, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and Taiwan in the which was held at INTEX in Shanghai from 19 – 21 September 2006.
Taiwan had a pavilion covering over 130 sqm, comprising 11 companies and organisations: E-Tine International, Ever Charm Foamtex, Everest Textile, Formosa Taffeta, Ho Yu Textile, Kin Lane, KNH Enterprise, New Pads Industry and Mytrex Industries. The Taiwan Man-made Fiber Industries Association and the Taiwan Textile Federation were also presented on the pavilion. Products exhibited include the latest technical textiles and nonwovens range from Taiwan, a region well-known for its expertise.
The group also organised a series of seminars which was conducted in Mandarin Chinese and include:
- An introductory speech by Mr. Justin Huang, the Secretary General of the Taiwan Textile Federation.
- An introduction to functional membranes and their applications by Mr. Min-Yung Huang of Everest Textile.
- An analysis of the performance and applications of nega-stat fabrics by Mr. Ming-Yung Huang of Formosa Taffeta.
A presentation on the applications of nonwoven in separation and isolation by Dr. Alvin Hu, the Vice President of KNH Enterprise.
- A talk on the latest air bag fabric development by Mr. CM Jwo the President of Ho Yu Textile.
