Hong Kong : China declares first round textile exports application for US & EU |

Trade and Industry Department, Hong Kong announces that the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued on 20 September 2006 a notice announcing the 2007 quantitative limits available for application in the first round regarding textile exports to the United States and the European Union.
According to the notice, local commerce departments in the Mainland are required to invite traders in their respective regions to submit applications and report the import/export codes or names of enterprises that are missing from annex 2 of the notice.
The local commerce departments are also required to consolidate and submit the applications and relevant electronic data to the MOC by 30 October 2006.
The MOC will announce the formal allocation arrangements separately. |
