China : Hongdou Group adopts 'inside market system' |

Hongdou Group is one of the major clothing manufacturers in China having a turnover of RMB11.7 billion in the previous year. The unit revealed that its success was due to constant innovation of management system.
In 1980s, the unit had revised its salary system as the worker’s salaries were fixed according to their respective quantity and quality of work.
Since 1990, the unit had registered in shareholdings; nearly most of the workers own its stock that has increased positive attitude of the workers’.
Meanwhile, the unit has also adopted "inside market system" regarding all working procedures within the firm like a business relationships.
Each production department has been delegated powers to accept or reject the half-finished products from preceding production department and in this manner high quality control and elevated efficiency management system has been implemented.
Currently, the unit is carrying out a new management system by way of nurturing specialists and technical innovation. |
