China : Textile industry records stable growth |

Textile industry has steadily increased from January to August this year.
There are already 38833 large textile and clothing units at an increasing rate of 13.15 percent compared to corresponding period last year.
Total production value in textile and clothing industry was RMB157.2816 billion at a growing rate of 23.06 percent.
Total turnover was RMB153.2429 billion with rate of 23.35 percent, while income was RMB51945 billion at an emerging rate of 33.37 percent.
From among the 38833 large textile and clothing units, the yarn output was 10.8224 million tons with an increasing rate of 21.06 percent, cloth output was 28.073 billion meters (16.30 percent), clothing output was 10.627 billion pieces (11.02 percent), chemical fibre output was 13.0054 million tons (14.73 percent). |
