China : Nanchong to be the garment-training center in Northeast

Nanchong city is currently facing shortage of over 5000 skilled garment workers.

As many as 23 garment units are planning to jointly establish one of the biggest clothing technical training center in the Northeast of China.

Nanchong with 46 textile and clothing units is one of the important clothing production bases in China with an annual turnover of RMB400 million.

The rapidly growing clothing industry requires skilled garment workers.

Local government has determined to offer an allowance of RMB700 to each worker while giving the clothing training.

Local clothing units will employ the first batch of trained workers while the rest will be diverted to other nearby clothing units.
