China : Zhejiang custom beefs up check on apparel exports |

According to General Inspection Bureau’s notice, Zhejiang custom add the inspection of anti-combustion capability on indoor apparel exports to America along with the inspection of nickel release of clothing’s metal like fastener, slide fastener’s head.
The number of cases of fire caused by clothes is increasing and America desires strict regulations on textile’s combustion capability.
EU strictly limits the nickel usage on clothes and forbids importing unqualified products.
In order to help clothing units avoid export risk, Country General Inspection Bureau has issued this new policy. At the same time, Zhejiang custom reminds that clothing units should understand the related regulation of America and EU. |
