China : Acrylic market quotations remained flat last week

For the just past week, imported acrylic in the market was still dim.

On agent’s side, Taiwan ordinary sources, including Formosa Plastics Group and Donghua Lung agents, currently discussed the price between US $2930-2070 per ton (CIF China port, L/C90 days).

It is learned that domestic buyers could hardly accept any price higher than $2030 per ton (CIF China port, L/C90 days), therefore, agents continued to make shipment with conceded price.

Regarding Japan's general supply, in the current sluggish purchasing situation of the overall downstream chains in domestic market, the agents had no choice but to lower the trading price with real transaction between $2020-2030 yuan per ton (CIF China port, L/C90 days).

Having entered into November, the price of acrylonitrile in Asia has posted no sign of decline. At present, spot goods negotiations are still maintained at the higher range of $1610-1630 per ton (CFR China main port).
