China : Yarn & thread reference prices at Zhengjiang Changxing

In the just past week, price movement posted a weak trend, due to the slack purchasing power of the lower chains in the market.

Looking at trading varieties from the market, DTY filament 100D/144F could still keep moving. Filaments would have to face a down test due to the downward trend of chips from upper chains.

Recently, the prices of 100 percent polyester yarns have been rising, with yarn 45s at 15,900 yuan per ton, up 100 yuan from November 13. Cotton-polyester yarn displays little change with current prices steady.

The followings are the reference prices for polyester yarns at Zhengjiang Changxing Textile City, collected on November 21, offered at yuan per ton.

100% polyester yarn 21s white, at 14000 yuan

100% polyester yarn 32s white, at 14800 yuan

100% polyester yarn 45s white, at 15900 yuan

Cotton polyester yarn 80/20 21s white, at 15700 yuan

Cotton polyester yarn 80/20 32s white, at 16800 yuan

Cotton polyester yarn 80/20 45s white, at 17500 yuan
