China : 1st Shaoxing Strategic Alliance on textile production & research

Recently, the first 10 research institutes and universities of Shaoxing Strategic Alliance on Textile Production and Research sent their experts to the province to engage in specialized collection of general technical problems for carrying out a joint research.

This project was initiated and organized by Shaoxing city's government according to the features of regional economic development and the demand of textile industrial development.

At present, the partners of the Strategic Alliance were 10 domestic textile research institutes, colleges, universities and more than 22 provincial-level high-tech enterprises in Shaoxing city.

The Strategic Alliance will aim at tackling eight problems: textile machinery, spinning, weaving, dyeing, ready-made clothing, neckties, socks and dye additives.
