After facing anti-dumping in India, silk enterprises in Chongqing city started seeking business opportunities in South Korea.
The first Chongqing ‘Sino-Korea textile and silk communication conference’ was held on December 5. After conducting survey of several leading silk companies in Chonaqing, experts from South Korean silk industry made decision to strengthen cooperation with Chongqing.
According to relevant report, South Korea imports about 90 percent of silk from China, but this was the first time that Korean experts have visited western China.
