China : Textile industry to enter EU via new members

On January 1, 2007, Bulgaria and Rumania will join EU and this will open gateway for cheap clothing and textile from China and White Russia.

Bulgaria and Rumania share good trade relation with China and White Russia for very long time.

Due to trade and human rights, clothing from China and Russia were limited to EU.

In accordance with WTO, EU will make adjustments in import quota so that it can adjust import quantity after joining of Bulgaria and Rumania as its member.

EU has urged to ministers of all member countries to approve new import quota.
