The new term ‘anti-absorption’ is worrying the chemical-fibre fabric exporters in Zhejiang province.
EU has announced informally to carry out the anti-absorption investigation on Chinese chemical-fibre cloth, it is for the first time that the textile units encounter the anti-absorption investigation.
The investigated chemical-fibre cloth is dyeing and printing artificial filament fabrics, over 1000 Chinese textile units are involved, and most units are located in Shaoxing city.
The anti-absorption tax is far higher than normal tariff, the highest tax rate is two times as much as anti-dumping tax rate. So, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles has reminded the involved units, they should apply for questionnaire before January 11, 2007. fibre2fashion, news desk- China
