Will enhance service and support to customers throughout the country
Connecticut, USA – Gerber Technology has announced that it has acquired selected assets of their distributor Rapida Sistemas Integrales enabling direct operations in Spain with the opening of a new head office in Barcelona. With additional company resources and satellite offices around the country, this move strengthens Gerber’s ability to deliver enhanced service and support to the local market.
“Customers in Spain have benefited from our product technology since 1978,” said José da Silva, regional director, Western Europe. “We are excited to offer existing and future customers the expanded level of support that this strategic change can provide.”

Spain is a strategic market with strong apparel brands and a rapidly growing industrial segment,” added Sam Simpson, vice president, global sales. “By establishing direct operations in Spain, we can better meet the needs of this marketplace.”
An open house and other events to celebrate Gerber’s direct presence in Spain will be announced in the coming weeks.
