Fujian possesses seven Chinese famous brands, ten Chinese well-known trademarks. The output of textile industry in 2006 in value terms exceeded 150 billion yuan, according the region fifth rank in China after Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Shandong provinces.
