China : New technology helps create natural colour floss

In Chongqing city, a silk research and development company found new technologies to produce the natural colour floss.

Natural colour floss will not create pollution like dyeing floss. It gives a smooth feeling on touch and does not fade.

Natural colour floss is made from natural colour cocoon. Many units still have traditional dyeing process, which produce natural colour floss more complex.

It took more than three years of research and development for the company to invent this new technology.

This technology has received patent from the state. At present, natural colour floss are available in colours like yolk, pink, light green etc.
