China : Govt publishes standards for 28 textile products

Government recently published standards for 28 textile products, and these standards have been implemented from January, 2007.

These 28 textile products are: sewing exclusive yarn of combed yarn, viscose fiber color yarn, polyester-rayon blend yarn, viscose fiber cloth, polyester-rayon blend cloth, carded polyester and cotton blended cloth, viscose fiber dyeing cloth, polyester-rayon blend printing and dyeing cloth, polyester and cotton blended carded dyeing cloth, torsion angle test of knitted woolen garments, yarn defects and weight testing methods, hair woven testing methods, woven chenille thread, hollow spindles circle thread, combing woolen fabric, rough woolen fabric, pure woolen blended blankets, woolen-like blankets, Raschel blanket, thread blanket, weft acrylic blankets, handkerchiefs, quality polyester yarn used in sewing, wool products and elongation and reversion testing methods, the knitted cotton yarn and so on.
