China : Shaoxing dyeing sector aims to touch the sky!

Shaoxing dyeing industry associations held the fourth executive meeting on March 24, reviewing the work in 2006, and setting important tasks and clear objectives for 2007.

County’s dyeing industry, after 10 years of development, has formed a large production scale and the overall strength has greatly increased.

According to statistics, by the end of 2006, Shaoxing County had 180 enterprises in printing and dyeing industry, with 65,000 employees, and 13.4 billion meters of annual processing capacity.

The meeting set the goals and focus of this year's work. Delegates encouraged experts from Zhejing province and outside places to conduct seminars and training courses for the members of the association. This will help enhance management, technology, energy saving and other aspects and push the industry to a new level.
