China : Govt urges to improve textile product quality

China Commerce Department fears that EU may again impose limitation on import of Chinese textile as Sino-Europe Textile Agreement expirs by year end. This would lead domestic textile enterprises to lose overseas orders, in spite of low prices.

Chinese Government is helping textile enterprises to overcome this difficulty by carrying out measures like limiting export of low quality produce. It also advises the textile enterprises to improve on their product structure and develop high value-added products.
