China : Jinjiang top contender for Zipper City Title

The Chinese Hardware Products Association is selecting ‘the Zipper City of China’ and the Fujian Provincial Zipper Trade Association has reported that the Jinjiang city is most likely to get the title.

Jinjiang city one of the most important Zipper production bases in China, has over 120 zipper producers, including Fujian SBS Zipper Technology Co., Ltd, a big manufacturer in the global zipper industry.

The total production value of the local zipper industry is about RMB6 billion, accounting for around 7 percent of China's annual production value.

At present, three cities, Jinjiang of Fujian province, Yiwu of Zhejiang province and Yongjia of Zhejiang province are striving for the covated title of ‘the Zipper City of China’.
