Jiangsu Xinjie Group Co. Ltd has become the first interlining manufacturer in mainland China to receive Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification.
"We are concerned not only with business profits but also with the health of our consumers," general manager Sang Hesong said.
Xinjie uses resin-finishing agents with low-formaldehyde content and azo-free dyestuff. The company has also replaced about 28 kinds of materials and agents with less harmful substances.
Set up in 1984, Xinjie was also the mainland's first interlining manufacturer to receive ISO 9001 and ISO 9002 certification. The company employs 400 workers and mainly produces double spot adhesive lining cloth, powdery spot adhesive lining cloth, nonwoven adhesive lining cloth, paste spot adhesive lining cloth and resin adhesive lining cloth.
Xinjie has acquired a line of machinery sourced from Switzerland and Germany. The company has an annual output of 30 million meters. Main markets are Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the United States and Europe. |
