China : Hangzhou to organize International Silk Forum 2007 in Oct

State National Cocoon and Silk Coordination Office, China Silk Association, and Hangzhou Government have planned to organize ‘International Silk Forum’ during October 2007, in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province.

According to organizers, this forum would be the highest level international meeting of Silk Industry in recent years.

Exchange of views and ideas to improve quality of silk products, expansion of consumer market and international trade, enhance technological innovations and raw silk electronic detection among various countries would be the main focus of the event.

During the forum, China will release Silk Industry Development Report of 2007.
