China : Beijing to hold exposition to herald Olympics

Beijing is organizing an 'Industrial Brands Exposition' to herald the Olympic Games starting from August 31 to September 2.

All the new and advanced textile fabrics, technologies and machineries like long-distance cutting out garments, the lightest underwear fabric used for spacesuit and water-proof fabric will be showcased here.

Four clothing enterprises of Beijing have been selected to provide services to 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Each of these has special technologies, of which the advanced 'three-dimensional customization' technology can provide customers with an idea of the size and colour that would suit them.
