China : Local textile goods to get special display at Texworld

In order to popularize the latest trends and fashions in Chinese textiles and fabrics the world over and to promote stable trade cooperation, China Textile Information Center (CTIC) and China Textiles Development Center (CTDC) have been invited to participate in the prestigious Texworld 2007, which will be held in France from September 17-20.

There will be a special section in Texworld highlighting China's contribution to the world of textiles and fabrics.

Both CTIC and CTDC are working hard to change China's image as a supplier of cheap, low-quality products. They have designed a project called 'Fabrics China', in which innovative styles of fabrics and textiles will be displayed.

The establishment of National Textiles Center to carry out research in the field, popularization of CSC900T (social responsibility management system) and establishment of the industrial update platform are some other methods adopted by CTIC and CTDC to help the country's textile sector.
