China : Textile Economy Development Meet in Donghua

　　On October 31, Donghua University successfully held a discussion on research and development and changes occurring in the Chinese textile economy. The meeting was attended by leaders of Textile Industry Association, Textile Industry Research Center and over 40 experts from universities like Donghua, Hong Kong Polytechnic.

　　Professionals from Textile Industry Research Center expressed that this discussion would help the Government to create strategy for the growth of textile industry’s economy and also it would act as development platform for science and technology.

　　The participants here understood the prevailing situation in the textile industry, shared the research results of the global textile industry and reviewed the changes in the textile industry. Besides, representatives from the universities also provided some countermeasures and thoughts to increase competition in the global arena.
