China : Bags & case industry finally springs up

　　Chinese people made very little or no use of cases and bags and this inevitably slackened the development of the concerned industry.

　　Earlier cases in China were made from withes and it was only after 1960 that manufacturers started to make use of leather for production. For a long time, Chinese enterprises did not express the need to develop promotional strategies.

　　Cases and bag industries of China had remained largely unexplored since entrepreneurs had never taken efforts to investigate into the potential markets. Besides, paucity of skilled designers made it impossible to match the international standards.

　　Today, however, Chinese cases and bags enterprises have started adopting brand strategies. For instance, the Baigou Case and Bags Retail and Wholesales Market, located in Hebei Province, has become the largest market for the industry.
