China : Huaxin Holding introduces new colour embroidery thread

　　On November 13, Zhejiang Huaxin Holding Group’s color embroidery thread project was awarded the improvement prize by China Textile Industry Association.

　　The color embroidery threads are one of the important raw materials for the textile and clothing industry. So far, the production of color embroidery threads was includes spinning, printing and dyeing and other process flow involving more than one manufacturer.

　　However, this new technology introduced by Zhejiang Huaxin Holding Group can omit the process flow of printing and dyeing, and the entire process can be finished by only one manufacturer. Besides, this new technology will also improve the quality of the color embroidery threads.

　　This new color embroidery threads’ price is around 18000 yuan per ton lower than the rayon embroidery threads, and nearly 6000 yuan per ton lesser than the terylene embroidery threads.

　　The Zhejiang Huaxin Holding Group expects to produce about 0.1 million tons of this new embroidery threads annually and will start operations from 2008. It is estimated that the new technology will decrease 10 million tons of effluent discharges.
