Indonesia : Govt Support Urged to Boost Textile Industry

 Indonesian Textile Association (API) demanded government support to boost textile industry. The textile sector is facing competition with producers in India and China.

API however says that after the elimination of quota system set by the U.S. and Europe by the end of 2004 textile and garment industry will still be able to secure its overseas markets.
