“China Sewing Machinery & Accessories Show INDIA 2008” ,organized by China Sewing Machinery Association(CSMA) and the Clothing Manufactures Association of India(CMAI), was held from Jan.10-12,2008 in Bangalore International Exhibition Center.
About 80 famous brand of “made in China” showed up as a collectivity, attracted about 3000 professional visitors. This is a great event happened in the beginning of 2008 at Bangalore.
The exhibition hall is full of “China Red”, and it extended from hall to the entrance of the hall and the road .The billboard colored by “China Red” attracted people’s eyes like the delicate and charming flowers. It brought warm and fervor to this city and announced the coming of “Made in China”.
Why we choose to hold exhibition in India:
The average annual increase rate if Indian garment industry reaching 63% from 2000 to 2006. The output of Indian garment industry increased by 18% in 2006.
From 1999, Indian government supplied low interest rate loan to textile and garment for the renewal of equipment. The upgrading of textile garment industry speed up and good expectation was given.
The annual increase rate of Indian garment industry will keep at 20%. The total amount of clothing will reach 28.6 million pieces in 2010. And the total output amounts to 25 billion USD.
Under this estimation, Indian garment manufacturers invest more on the renewal of the equipment. Indian sewing machinery exhibitions developed rapidly.
Some of Chinese brands sewing machine entered India by exhibiting via their agents. The export of Chinese sewing machine to India increased 201% in 2002 compared with that of 2001.
The increase rates for the following four years are 96%,68%,70% and 51%. In the end of 2006,India becomes the third exporting target country for Chinese sewing machine.
