Affected by PTA futures market performance, PTA spot offers rebounds to around 8500yuan/mt with bids at 8400yuan/mt or above. But market sentiment is still a bit flat and producers show resistance to high prices. The trading prices once hit 8430-8450yuan/mt but as futures decline, discussing prices drop to 8400yuan/mt. USD market presents a bit dull in the morning and no high bids seen. Some Taiwan-origin cargos are offered at $1055-1060/mt with bids at $1045/mt. Korea-origin cargos are offered at $1040-1045/mt with bids at $1030-1035/mt.
MEG
More MEG offers emerge on RMB market and sellers become more active to sell goods, providing offers at 7850yuan/mt. Buyers are a bit cautious and discussing prices may be close to 7800yuan/mt or lower. USD offers are mainly seen at $980/mt. Producers are also more willing to sell goods while buyers tend to wait and see. A few bids are released at below $970/mt.
