Recently, sales of jeans fabric are robust. It is known from jeans fabric and clothing plants in Zibo, Sanming and Foshan that with the support of previous orders, most plants are busy producing and prices continue to move up with smooth sales. The prices of OEC10S×10S 80×50 60" 3/1 fabric (indigo) produced in Shandong are at 13.6yuan/m and 0EC7S×6S 72×46 59" 3/1 fabric (indigo) produced in Guangdong are at 16.5yuan/m.
Influenced by high prices of feedstock and the fluctuation of the exchange rate of CNY, cotton fabric plants are afraid of receiving orders. Some medium and small scaled plants mainly produce small and short-term orders. Seriously, a few plants only had feedstock of half a month and limited orders. Currently, the market atmosphere is heavy and downstream plants are cautious concerning about upstream trends of cotton and yarn to avoid risks.
