Polyester Filament Yarn Market Morning Express (Nov 10, 2010)

This morning, owing to PTA futures limit-up, PFY market keeps upward in Jiangsu and Zhejiang. Most plants continue to raise offer. Offer for POY, DTY and FDY is raised by 300-1000yuan/mt, 800-1000yuan/mt and 300-500yuan/mt, respectively. A few plants actively revise POY price down somewhat.

In Shaoxing, one PFY plant raises POY offer by 600yuan/mt to 17500yuan/mt for 150D. FDY offer moves up by 500yuan/mt to 21000yuan/mt for 75/72 and 17200yuan/mt for 150D. In Xiaoshan, one big plant raise PFY offer by 1000yuan/mt further. POY, DTY, FDY150D is offered at 17300yuan/mt, 19300yuan/mt and 17200yuan/mt, respectively. One plant in Xiaoshan revises POY offer down by 800yuan/mt to 10000yuan/mt. 150D、200D、300D is offered at 16600yuan/mt, 16450yuan/mt and 16250yuan/mt, respectively. Meanwhile, another big plant raises DTY offer by 800yuan/mt-1000yuan/mt, up FDY offer by 300yuan/mt and POY offer up by 800yuan/mt. DTY, FDY and POY150D is offered at 19500yuan/mt, 17100yuan/mt and 17100yuan/mt, respectively. Besides, chip offer is pegged at 15000yuan/mt but plants mostly stop offering now. 2000tons are traded at this level.

In Tongxiang, ruling plants raise POY offer by 300yuan/mt. 150D is offered at 16800yuan/mt and FDY offer is raised by 500yuan/mt. DTY offer moves up by 300-500yuan/mt. Besides, one big plant in Wujiang raises DTY offer by 900yuan/mt and FDY offer up by 900yuan/mt. Bright 50/24 and 75/36 is offered at 24400yuan/mt and 21700yuan/mt, respectively.

In Wuxi, one key plant raises FDY offer by 200yuan/mt. 75/36 and 150/96 is offered at 22200yuan/mt and 18700yuan/mt, respectively. Another key plant raises FDY offer by 200yuan/mt. 75/36 bright one and semi-dull one is offered at 23000yuan/mt and 22000yuan/mt, respectively.
