CPL & Nylon 6 Chip Market Morning Express (Nov 12, 2010)

China USD spot market holds steady in the morning. Few offers are heard. Meanwhile, fewer buyers are inquiring as well as futures market slumps. Discussions are still at $2870-2880/mt, but not many discussions are seen as well.

On RMB spot market, the offers are at 23800yuan/mt, against discussions at 23600-23700yuan/mt.

Nylon 6 chips
The mainstream prices of conventional spinning chips and high speed spinning chips are at 25500-25800yuan/mt, ex-works and 25800-26300yuan/mt. Producers control trading volume and are active to push prices up.

High speed spinning chips are offered at 26800yuan/mt by acceptance in South China, higher-quality goods at 26500yuan/mt in East China and 26000yuan/mt by acceptance or cash in Jiangsu and North China. New deals for better-quality goods are done at 26300-26500yuan/mt and medium-quality goods at 25800-26000yuan/mt. In East China, bright conventional spinning chips are offered at 25800-26000yuan/mt and traded at 25500-25800yuan/mt. Semi-dull chips are offered at 26500yuan/mt and traded at 26300yuan/mt, ex-works.
