PTA
RMB PTA slips evidently. Offers drop to 9700-9800yuan/mt while buyers are wary, some bid tentatively at 9500yuan/mt. Affected by slumping domestic market, USD PTA also dips. Discussions are rare. Possible trading level for Taiwan-origin cargoes may fall below $1200/mt.
MEG
There are few offers in RMB MEG market. Some selling indications are around 8700yuan/mt but bids are scarce. Buying idea is at 8500yuan/mt or below. USD MEG market is at a standstill, with several offers at $1100/mt. Buyers are reluctant and some bid at $1050/mt or above.
