Fabric Market Morning Express (Nov 16, 2010)

Recently influenced by the fluctuation of feedstock prices, unsmooth orders and limited output, the sales of cotton fabric fall down. In China Textile City, the daily trading volume of cotton fabric totals to 1.10mlin meters, 0.1mln meters less than previous time. New orders and enquires decrease obviously and transactions slow down.

As cotton 329 prices declined by 2000yuan/mt to 28800yuan/mt, along with cotton yarn prices drop by 500yuan/mt, fabric plants mainly hold wait-and-see sentiment and lower some high offers. The offers for JC60S×60S 90×88 58" dyed fabric (shuttle) produced in Zhejiang are at 13.5yuan/m and C20S×16S 128×60 58" dyed fabric produced in Shandong at 21yuan/m. In later period, downward trend is seen.
