Grey Fabric Marekt Drops

Domestic cotton textile market has dropped since last weekend. Worrying about decreasing prices of cotton and cotton yarn, grey fabric plants mainly hold wait-and-see sentiment and purchase cautiously.

Recently the prices of cotton grey fabric have declined by 0.5yuan/m, but the downward trend has not appeared. Firstly, although upstream prices declined obviously, the prices remain high. Secondly, there are not sufficient spots in grey fabric market and plants have no inventory pressure.

Currently the prices of JC60S×JC60S 90×88 64" 1/1 fine cloth (true selvedge) produced in Shanxi and Shandong are at 10.50-10.70yuan/m, C40S×40S 133×72 63" 1/1 poplin at 12.50-13.00yuan/m, higher prices of C20S×16S 128×60 63" 3/1 drill at 18.00yuan/mt, and the mainstream prices of JC60S/2×60S/2 144×76 63" 3/1 twill produced in Hebei and Hunan at 18.50-19.00yuan/m.
