Polyester filament yarn market held stable, despite some producers increased or decreased offers within the range of 200-500yuan/mt. Market sentiment stabilized gradually. The sales situation was mixed among plants and the sales ratio averaged at 60-80% with lower at 20-30% and higher at 100%.
In Xiaoshan and Shaoxing, the offers of polyester filament yarn were maintained. Some producers revised offers of popular products up by 200yuan/mt and a few producers adjusted down offers a little. The producer in Shaoxing increased fine FDY offers by 200yuan/mt with 68/24, 75/72 and 100/48 at 19500, 18600 and 16200yuan/mt.
In Tongxiang, Taicang and Shengze, the offers were stable. The downstream weaving mills mostly consumed inventory stored before and some still purchased feedstock properly.
In Wuxi, FDY market was steady in general. One producer offered coarse denier FDY130D and 150D at 16600 and 16300yuan/mt due to good sales of oxford.
