Overall Downtrend--Polyester Filament Yarn Market Morning Express (Dec 1, 2010)

In Zhejiang and Jiangsu, PFY producers widely revise prices down by 300-500yuan/mt and some plants cut high-priced FDY down 1000yuan/mt.

In Xiaoshan and Shaoxing, the majority of POY varieties keep stable but a few down 200. The mainstream price of POY150/48 is at 13000-13400yuan/mt with some lower-quality goods at 12700-12900yuan/mt. One Shaoxing plant cuts FDY down 200-600, 50/24, 68/24, 75/72 and 150D at 18500, 17400, 16900 and 13000yuan/mt. DTY mainly heads down by 200yuan/mt.

One major Tongxiang plant reduce POY down 500 and FDY down 800-1000yuan/mt. One Taicang plants revises 10kg POY down 200 and 15kg POY down 200-500yuan/mt.

A Shengze direct spinner revises FDY down 1000, POY down 300-800 and DTY down 200-500. POY75/144 and 150/144 are offered at 16300 and 14200yuan/mt respectively. One Wuxi plant adjusts semi-dull FDY down 1000, bright FDY down 400-600yuan/mt. Semi-dull and bright FDY75/36 are offered at 16200 and 15600yuan/mt respectively.
