Polyester Filament Yarn Market Morning Express (Dec 2, 2010)

In Xiaoshan and Shaoxing, FDY largely decreases by 100-200 with some excessively high offers down 500-1000yuan/mt, 75/36 and 150D at 16200-17200 and 12800-13200yuan/mt. POY plants revise high offers down 500-1000yuan/mt and low offers hold stable. Higher DTY offers also drop by about 1000yuan/mt.

In Tongxiang, Taicang and Shengze, major suppliers largely release stable offers with discounts for some varieties. Downstream O/R gradually dips and buyers keep cautious.

Major suppliers in Xiaoshan offer DTY150/48 contract this week at 14500yuan/mt this week and FDY150/96 at 13000yuan/mt. Rongsheng, Cifu, Hongjian, Tianyuan, Zhejiang Chemical Fiber United and Hengyi revise POY150D/48F contract offers down 1200 to 12800yuan/mt.
