Average price of China's global yarn exports increases 12.6 percent on year

The average price of China’s global yarn exports was US $3.1 / kg from January-October this year, an increase of 12.6 percent year on year, according to statistics from Chinese customs.

Of which, the average prices of silk yarn and wool & animal hair yarn were US $28.95 / kg and $ 24.44/ kg, increasing by 36.67 percent and 23.68 percent, respectively, year on year; the average prices of chemical fiber yarn and cotton yarn were US $2.94 and US $4.15/ kg, increasing by 15.63 percent and 20.96 percent, respectively, year on year.

Among export areas, the average price of exports to ASEAN region reached US $3.11 / kg, up 19.21 percent year on year, set the highest increase. Export prices of exports to Hong Kong and South Korea increased by 23.36 percent and 10.85 percent, year on year. Export price of exports to Japan fell by 6.16 percent.
