The sales of wide fabric for sheet and quilt are weak recently. In Binzhou, Nantong, and Xingtai, scaled plants with low operating rate are mainly producing for cotton and polyester/cotton fine cloth, poplin, and santin. The orders remain limited with slowing down sales and fabric plants continue to reduce offers. The prices of C30×30 68×68 98" dyed fabric produced in Hebei fall to 15.8yuan/m while the offers for C40S×40S 133×72 98" dyed fabric produced in Shandong decline by 1yuan/m again to 20yuan/m.
Fabric traders, along with printing and dyeing enterprises are in face of the situation of limited orders, weak sales and unsteady feedstock prices. But with becoming stable feedstock prices, enquires and new orders increase somehow. Therefore, the sales of cotton fabric are supposed to recover slowly.
