Grey Fabric Market Remains Weak

Recently domestic cotton prices continue to recover, but grey fabric market still keeps weak with low sales ratio and increasing inventories. The transactions of grey fabric are rare and prices fall down. The prices of JC60S×JC60S 90×88 64" fine cloth (true selvedge) produced in Shanxi are at 8.70-8.80yuan/m, C40S×40S 133×72 105" 2/1 twill (jet) produced in Hebei and Henan at 16.50yuan/m, and T/C80/20 23S×23S 108×58 63" 3/1 drill produced in Shandong at 8.80yuan/m.

As most plants hold bearish sentiment, some with no orders have stopped working. Downstream customers remain not active to purchase goods.
