Yarn Market Morning Express (Dec 13, 2010)

Although cotton prices tend to rebound somehow, cotton yarn market keeps weak with modest transactions. Plants with large inventory pressure focus on selling goods at low prices. The prices of common cotton yarn 32s are at 35000-36000yuan/mt while the prices of high-grade cotton yarn 40s are at 38000-39000yuan/mt. In addition, rayon yarn prices continue to fall down with increasing inventories. The market prices of rayon yarn 30s for weaving produced in Xiaoshan and Shaoxing are at 30000-30500yuan/mt and for knitting produced in Xinxiang at 31000-31500yuan/mt.
