Yarn Market Morning Express (Dec 14, 2010)

The sales of Chemical fiber yarn present weak recently. Downstream plants purchase limited and mainly hold wait-and-see stances. The market prices of polyester yarn 32s are at 17000-18000yuan/mt and rayon yarn 30s at 30000-31000yuan/mt with much lower transaction prices. In addition, polyester/rayon yarn prices also tend to be weak and the prices of polyester/rayon 65/35 yarn 50s/2 decline to 32000yuan/mt with modest sales. Currently most yarn plants with increasing inventories and limited new orders focus on selling goods.
