Yarn Market Morning Express (Dec 21, 2010)

The demand for cotton yarn remains limited and most plants offer weakly with lower transaction prices. The market prices of cotton yarn 32s are at only 35000yuan/mt with decreasing orders while the mainstream price of combed cotton yarn 40s are at 42000-43000yuan/mt, lower at 40000yuan/mt in some regions. In addition, rayon yarn prices continue to slip down with slight recovering sales. The prices of rayon yarn 30s for knitting produced in Xinxiang are at 29000yuan/mt.
