Most chemical yarn prices remain weak. The traded prices of rayon yarn 30s for knitting are at 29000yuan/mt and for weaving at 28000yuan/mt. The overall demand recovers slightly. In addition, the market prices of polyester yarn 32s for knitting are at 17500yuan/mt with limited orders and increasing inventory.
Although cotton prices recover, cotton yarn market is supported little. Plants with large inventory pressure mainly focus on selling goods, but downstream customers show little interest to purchase. The overall cotton yarn market still presents weak. The mainstream price of high-grade cotton yarn 32s is at 37000yuan/mt.
