India : Textile Shipment Validity Period Extended Till July 20

Validity period for shipment in all textile categories has been extended till July 20 by the textile ministry.

This will be applicable in respect of those endorsements obtained under Part-I entitlement certificates under PPE/PPT, MEE and PEE systems on or before May 31 and where validity expires on June 20, a press release from the cotton textile export promotion council (Texprocil) has said.

The Texprocil Executive Director, Mr Siddhartha Rajagopal, has said the exporters are requested to contact the respective port offices of the Council for necessary extension in validity period for shipment.
