PTA
PTA market is quiet this morning and the prices are largely maintained. Taiwan origin goods are quoted at $1240/mt, while Korea goods are offered at $1220/mt. In China domestic market, the offers increased to 1000yuan/mt and some traded prices are assessed at 9900yuan/mt.
MEG
Offers for MEG in domestic market keep stable at around 8750yuan/mt. Offers for large volumes are rare and may be at 8670-8700yuan/mt while offers for small volumes are at around 8700yuan/mt. Although some polyester plants enquire, the offers are mainly taken by traders. In import market, offers increase somehow, which are mainly for cargos delivered to port at $1105-1110/mt while bids are at $1100/mt lower. Suppliers show little interest to sell goods at low prices and transaction prices may be discussed at around $1100/mt. Recently there are a number of cargos delivered to port.
