Canada : Algo Swings To Q1 Profit, Sales Slip

Montreal-based clothing producer Algo Group Inc on Friday revealed it swung to a first quarter net profit despite a slight fall in sales.

The company posted a net profit of C$600,000 versus a year-ago loss of C$180,000 despite sales slipping to C$24.4 million from C$25.1m in 2002.
